There's Always Hope

This was the second painting I finished during "lockdown" (if you are reading his from the future, go look up the "Great Covid-19 Lockdown of 2020" in your history books... or the chip implanted in your head).
I wanted to create a few paintings that covered 3 things:
How people felt at the time
Something that would still have meaning when all this was over
Something that still fit in with the whole "ethos" of my artwork
Hopefully this painting ticks all those 3 boxes.
It started life over a year before it was finished as a totally different painting that I hated and gave up on (which you can still see part of at the left of the image, and part of a SEGA logo in the middle), but I'm not one to waste things so used the canvas for this painting.
