Obviously inspired by brands like Coke and Pepsi (full disclosure, I love Pepsi!), this painting introduces "Genki Cola". Often when we buy things, we are buying into the "brand" or the "lifestyle" and not the actual product itself. I don't care what celebrity is prancing around splashing this shit all over themselves, I just want to know if it tastes good!
The "Genkidesu Corporation" is something that crops up a lot in my paintings, they are one of the global mega-corporations who keep the world in check and sell consumers what they (think) they need.
